UNISON members lobbied Notts County Council today in defence of jobs and services that face cuts under the proposed budget.
A cold and wet lunchtime crowd were warmed by impassioned speeches from representatives of UNISON, GMB, NUT and the FBU.
Star speaker of the day was an angry Grace Perry (Senior Social Services Steward) who spoke from the heart, attacking the cuts and their impact on her, her colleagues, and the vulnerable people they serve.
